Thanks to the kind fans at FMH who have posted a report on the Transformers display at the Toy Fair 2012 event going on in the UK this week. Highlights include news on new products coming to the Generations line that is to include 8 new figures. The Transformers Prime Weponizers with Leader class figures that feature 4-modes of play and more. Then there is this new thing they call Optimus Maximus. A transforming figure who's alternate mode is a base for your Cyberverse figures. Check out more details after the jump.

Collectors Club
In preparation of the pre-orders going live next week for their club exclusive figures, Fun Publications has released the final test sample image of their Runabout toy in robot mode. But hold the phone a second: the toy is no longer officially named Runabout, it is now Over-Run. The figure, along with Shattered Glass Drift, will be available for pre-order next week. Fun has also released the bio for the Transformers Collectors Club figure, which is available in the full article.

Prime
The season finale of Transformers Prime ended in quite an epic way: after surrendering the power of the Matrix to defeat Unicron, Optimus Prime lost his memory, reverting to his Orion Pax days on Cybertron. So, with the second season about to begin on February 18, 2012 at 8:30 PM on The Hub, MTV is debuting the trailer of the first episode of season two titled "Orion Pax Part 1." The video catches the viewer up from last season, and shows a lot of the epic action carried over from the season finale last October. Take a look at the video embedded after the jump. Are you ready?

Generation 1
It has been a while that we've featured a Transformers collection. After seeing the images from the The Tomb of Spurt Reynolds, I just had to post about. The images show his new collection room converted from the garage in his house. The presentation is just gorgeous. I must say, he did an amazing job showing off his large collection of Transformers and many Brave Series figures too. Check out the The Tomb of Spurt Reynolds and share your comments.

Third Party
A new images has surfaced from iGear Toys that looks a whole lot like an ultimate revision and homage to the G1 Bumblebee character. The image released online show a prototype figure with a very BB-like look and the unmistakeable horns that are the signature of the G1 character. The figure looks to be heavily detailed with a lot of torso, not much beef in the legs and big feet. He's also got a pile of weapons and accessories ala the NOT Ironhide / Ratchet kits. Check out the image after the jump and share your comments till we learn more about this new iGear figure.

Prime
While the figure is not supposed to arrive until wave 2 of Transformers Prime Deluxe (Revealers/Robots In Disguise), Ben Yee has managed to snag a copy of the Deluxe Autobot Ratchet figure and has put up a review and a gallery. Boiling it down, the figure is great, Mr. Yee says, however; the toy has some minor deco issues. We have mirrored some highlights in the gallery, but be sure to read the review in full at BWTF.com.

An image of Transformers Prime Optimus Maximus from what appears to be a catalog has surfaced on Twitter and shows off what was described in a report from Full Metal Hero at the UK Toy Fair earlier this week. The figure, as we learned earlier this week, is an Optimus Prime Cyberverse figure with a new take on the Cyberverse playsets where a base that is large enough to transform from a "figure" into a base for the Cyberverse action figures. In the image that has been revealed, it shows that Optimus got an upgrade with new parts and weapons. Take a look at the shot, vote, and comment, all after the break!

Attention Transformers Prime hunters! In addition to the Transformers Prime Revealers (Deluxes) that were sighted in California, Powerizers (Voyagers) Optimus Prime and Megatron have been sighted in Kansas and California. AllSpark member Rhinox was able to snag a Powerizer Megatron while fellow forum member Blindmouse sighted Megatron and Optimus Prime in a town North of San Francisco. Take a look at the proof after the jump, and be sure to let us know what you find in your hunting in the comments!

Collectors Club
Fun Publications has released an image of their Transformers Collectors Club exclusive figure Runabout in-hand test sample in vehicle mode. Runabout, along with Shattered Glass Drift, will be available for pre-order next week. Along with these two figures available for pre-order next week, club members will also be able to choose from two different t-shirt designs to purchase and have previewed Shirt A. Take a look at both in the gallery!

Movie Trilogy
Michael Bay is set to do Transformers 4, or so Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says so. In an interview with MTV to promote Journey 2, Mr. Johnson spoke about doing upcoming flicks like Pain and Gain with Mr. Bay, who has said multiple times he will work on the film prior to going back to the giant robot franchise. "I'm leaving all of my options on the table," he said back in December 2011 when a rumor popped up that he was close to committing to a deal to return for Transformers 4. Continue reading...

It's exactly what it says in the title. Have only a few minutes or very little time? OR looking for something comic related fast? Well, look no further. Today, we are starting a new weekly highlights series, with posts that are designed for the aforementioned people in mind. They'll be brief bullet points for the week for the fan who wants a really fast run down in Transformers Comics, and a video from yours truly!

Generation 1
Out this week is the twin brother of the Transformers Ongoing saga unfolding in 2012, Robots In Disguise issue 1 written by senior IDW editor John Barber (Sector 7, Dark of the Moon Movie Adaptation, and short story Convergence) and drawn by Andrew Griffith (Foundation). This may be the second of the two Ongoings but don't count this series any the lesser of the two because this comic my friends has a unique voice and has held it's own and I personally can't wait to read next months issue! Read my complete review after the jump!

McDonalds will be offering Transformers and My Little Pony Happy Meal toys beginning on March 9, 2012, according to Equestria Daily. The source did not know too much about the figures, except that they will most likely be new offerings. McDonalds is also going to do a huge push with these figures, according to the website. It is unknown what series the Transformers figures will be from since there are not any images available, but given that Transformers Prime's new season is starting February 18th and toys are beginning to hit stateside, do not be surprised if they are from the Prime universe.

Prime
We at Tformers completely understand you are jonesing for Transformers Prime toys stateside after seeing your friends across the pond basking in the goodness. Well, the time may come to an end soon! Demovere Xeno of the AllSpark spotted a Transformers Prime Revealers/Deluxe/Robots In Disguise Wheeljack in a San Mateo, CA Toys R Us store, and has provided images to prove it. In addition to the Wheeljack he picked up, he also says he saw assortment-mates Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. There were not any Soundwaves spotted during his trip, but an ebay auction for Soundwave as well as Cliffjumper in domestic packaging have appeared on eBay. Happy Hunting! And if you spot any Prime figures anywhere, be sure to post and let us know!

Collectors Club
As the 43rd issue of the Transformers Collectors Club Magazine is about to make it to members' inboxes, Fun Publications decided to provide a little taste of what is inside of the first issue of the seventh year of the official club. If the Transformers Animated Almanac was not enough to whet your whistle, how about the first ever installment of the Animated Almanac Addendum by Bill Forster and Jim Sorenson? Also, the magazine features an interview with LeVar Burton (Reading Rainbow, Star Trek: The Next Generation) about his new role in Transformers Rescue Bots as Doc Greene.

Prime
Here is a quick update from BigBadToyStore.com about a variety of new preorders as well as some cool new arrivals.

Prime
Shout! Factory just dropped by to give us some box artwork of their upcoming Transformers Prime Season One set, coming out on Blu-ray and DVD on March 6, 2012. In addition to the artwork, they have also provided us a press release for this monumental occasion. Check that and the artwork after the break.
